I mean fuck the ethics of Cappy possessing folk, this is the true dark secret of Mario bros. And the only reason Toadette doesn't get overwritten by Peach is because Peach is still alive. Oh my God, what if every time you die, instead of having multiple lives, Mario and Luigi just reincarnate into a nearby Toad using the Green Mushroom, like a Toad eats that Mushroom and they get Overwritten by Mario and Luigi. So, is the implication here that Mario, Luigi, and Peach, are not in fact human, but just super evolved Toads who have achieved human like forms from eating a special Mushroom? Were Mario and Luigi initially Toads? I mean we've seen them as babies at several points, and Peach as well, but then this shows up. Who looks like Peach, plays like Peach (She's got the air hover and everything, and she can't die from falling in pits) but she isn't Peach, she's Toadette.
